REFUND POLICY

1. LEGAL FRAMEWORK & SUBSCRIPTION NATURE
This Refund Policy complies with EU and Polish consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and the Digital Content Directive (2019/770/EU). It is designed to support the sustainability of our publishing ecosystem while ensuring clarity, fairness, and legal transparency. Our subscription plan provides digital access to a curated literary archive for the duration of your active subscription. By subscribing, you enter into a digital access agreement rather than purchasing physical goods or acquiring permanent ownership. Please read these terms carefully before completing your purchase.
2. FREE TRIAL & WAIVER OF WITHDRAWAL RIGHTS
We offer a 7 day free trial that grants full access to subscriber only content. This trial allows you to explore the catalogue and determine whether our offerings meet your expectations. If you do not cancel within the 7 day period, your subscription will activate automatically and be considered purchased. At that moment, you will be charged, your access will continue uninterrupted, and your statutory right of withdrawal under EU and Polish law will be waived, as digital delivery has begun with your explicit consent. This structure aligns with Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU and Article 3(1) of Directive 2019/770/EU, which permit limiting withdrawal rights once digital content delivery has commenced.
3. WHEN REFUNDS ARE GRANTED
All subscription purchases are final once post trial access begins, except when a promised feature—such as access to a specific book—is missing due to error, omission, or technical fault. In such cases, you may contact us within 48 hours of activation to request a resolution. Each case will be evaluated individually and may result in a technical fix, content delivery, or a partial refund if the issue cannot be resolved. We respond to all valid claims within seven business days. Refunds are not granted for reasons such as change of mind, subscription regret, underuse, forgetting the trial duration, or misunderstanding the offer. Dissatisfaction with a book’s content, genre, style, or literary qualities does not constitute grounds for a refund, nor do comparisons to free alternatives.
4. CATALOGUE CONTENT & AUTHORSHIP
Our catalogue includes Classical Gems and Hasalynx Pearls. Classical Gems are public domain works selected for their enduring literary merit. Their availability elsewhere does not qualify as a basis for refunds. Hasalynx Pearls are original works created by Hasalynx Press, released under branded author identities and produced using a range of creative methods. We make no guarantees regarding the specific creative process used for individual titles.

5. COVERS, TRANSLATIONS & LANGUAGE VERSIONS
All cover designs are created using digital tools. Refunds will not be issued based on the tools used to create covers. We do not provide refunds due to dissatisfaction with translation quality or style. Translated editions are supplementary; the English catalogue serves as the editorial basis of your subscription. A refund may only be requested if a specific language version visibly listed in the catalogue is missing. If this occurs, contact us within 48 hours of activation for resolution, which may include a technical fix, content delivery, or a partial refund if the issue cannot be resolved.

6. CANCELLATION, ACESS & ACCOUNT TERMINATION
Your subscription grants access to the digital catalogue only while it remains active and paid. If you cancel or allow your subscription to lapse, access to subscriber only content will end automatically at the conclusion of the current billing term. You may disable auto renewal at any time in your account settings to prevent future charges. No partial refunds are issued for unused days, early cancellations, or lapses in usage. You may not download, retain, or archive content after cancellation. This structure protects the integrity of our digital offerings and reinforces that the subscription provides temporary access rather than ownership or a permanent license.
7. ACCOUNT MISUSE & FALSE INFORMATION
Refunds are not granted in cases involving account misuse or breach of Terms. All registration information must be accurate and up to date. If we determine that any information is false, misleading, or unverifiable, we may suspend or terminate the account without refund. Subscriptions may only be used within your household, defined as individuals living with you. Sharing account credentials outside your household is strictly prohibited. Accounts found to be accessed by multiple unrelated individuals will be suspended without refund. Under EU law for digital content, delivery constitutes fulfillment, and refund eligibility is void once access has been granted.
8. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT & FINALITY
By completing your purchase, you confirm that you are purchasing digital content with immediate access and consent to the immediate start of delivery. You acknowledge that delivery of access fulfills our legal obligations and waive your statutory right of withdrawal under EU and Polish law. You also agree to the terms outlined in this policy.
All subscription purchases are non-refundable once post-trial access begins, except where a promised feature is missing due to error or technical fault. Refunds are not issued for change of mind, underuse, genre preferences, dissatisfaction with translations, or discovery that a title is in the public domain. Speculation about authorship or creative methods does not constitute grounds for refund.
9. CHARGEBACKS
Unauthorized chargebacks are strictly prohibited and result in immediate account suspension and permanent revocation of access. We reserve the right to dispute any chargeback, provide evidence of usage and fulfillment, and pursue legal action under applicable consumer fraud statutes. Any attempt to bypass refund boundaries, misuse access, or submit false claims is treated as abuse.
