🌐 Signing up for Free Plan or Reader Plan

To access anything on Hasalynx Press beyond visitor book blurbs and blog articles, you’ll need to create an account. Creating an account is completely free. Once you have one, you can choose a plan.

There are two plans available:

  • The Free Plan lets you read selected free book samples from the Online Catalogue.

  • The Reader Plan is a monthly subscription offered at an affordable, locally adjusted price, and it gives you full access to every book in the Online Catalogue.

To get started, click “Choose a plan" in the website menu.

You’ll be taken to the pricing page, where you can compare the two options.

Select the plan you want, then follow the prompts to create an account or log in. After that, you can finalize your plan.

You can cancel your plan at any time from your account settings. For more details, visit the Frequently Asked Questions section (link available in the website's footer).

🌐 Browsing Books in the Online Catalogue

Go to https://hasalynxpress.com and in the website menu, select Browse Ebooks.

The Online Catalogue will open. Both visitors and plan subscribers use this catalogue to access all available books.

As you can see, the catalogue is designed as a clean digital bookshelf with no ads, no noise, no reviews, and no trolls. This is intentional. Our philosophy is that reading should be your private experience, not a crowded marketplace full of distractions.

On the Online Catalogue, you can use the filters to find the books you like:

  • Language — choose your preferred language (e.g., English, Spanish).

  • Voice — choose the collection: Hasalynx Pearls or Classical Gems

  • Author / Pen Name - author or pen name (e.g. Maxine Foti).

  • Book genre — select the genre you want (e.g. Romance - Straight).

  • Romance trope — pick the trope you enjoy (e.g. Enemies to Lovers).

  • Passionate scenes — choose whether you want steamy content or not (e.g. Yes).

  • Topic — narrow down by theme (e.g. Circus).

Tip #1: Using too many filters at once may cause most books to be hidden. For best results, keep filters minimal.

Tip #2: Use the pagination to explore more books beyond the first page.

📖 Accessing Book Pages and Reading Books

Once you find a book you like in the Online Catalogue (all the steps are explained in the section above), click on its cover.

The book page will open in a new tab so you can explore multiple books easily by clicking on all the titles that interest you. Each book page includes the cover, blurb, and Read Online links. These links include the book parts and, in case of some books, a free sample, too.

  • You require a Free Plan to access the free sample link.

  • You require a Reader Plan to access the book parts links.

All books on Hasalynx Press are divided into parts (usually 10,000–20,000 words). It takes about 1-2h to read such a part - perfect for building your reading habit!

There are no unfinished books on Hasalynx Press. If you notice a book has only 1 or 2 parts, that's not a mistake. Many of books published by us are short stories and novellas - perfect to consume quickly.

Important: If you click on the free samples or book parts, but they don't open, it means that you either aren't logged in, or your account doesn't have a plan. Make sure you are subscribed to the Free Plan or Reader Plan before you attempt to read, and don't forget to check if you are logged in - the system will prompt you if that's the case..

After log-in, and with a Reader Plan, the book link will reveal the book's part that you have clicked on:

As you can see, the reading page uses a minimalist layout designed to help you stay focused on the text. By removing visual clutter and unnecessary elements, it supports a calmer, more immersive reading experience and makes it easier to build a consistent reading habit.

Once you finish reading the part you are on and reach the bottom of a page, you will notice a "Continue" button that will automatically take you to the next part of the book.

If the part that you were reading was the last one, the "Continue" button will automatically take you to the review page. You can also click "Back" to go back to the previous part (or the book's page).

Important: You can read all samples and book parts in the catalogue as long as your subscription is active. If you cancel, access ends automatically!

⭐ Free Samples for Free Plan Members

Some book pages include free samples for free samples. These are short - we recommend that you sign up for the Reader's Plan, if you want to read more than the very beginning of the book.

In the Online Catalogue, check the box "Books with Free Samples."

After you check this box, the books with free samples will appear in the sort below. Choose one that interests you and click on the cover. A book page will open. You can find the free sample beneath the "Read Online" section of the blurb. Click to access it.

Samples vary between 700-2000 words. It is a great way to check if you are going to enjoy the book before you dive in fully. If you are on Reader Plan, you can access the samples, too - though we recommend going directly to the book parts, for an uninterrupted experience.

Happy Reading!
