Governing Jurisdiction: Republic of Poland


Welcome to Hasalynx Press (“we,” “us,” “Publisher”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, mobile apps, digital library, forums and related features (collectively, the “Service”). By browsing, registering, subscribing, submitting content or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service immediately.


1. Definitions

1.1 Service    Hasalynx Press’s online platforms, including hasalynx.com, mobile applications, digital content delivery systems, community forums and related features.

1.2 Content    All literary works, images, audio, video, formatting, metadata and any other materials accessible through the Service—including Hasalynx Pearls and Classical Gems.

1.3 User / Subscriber    Any individual or legal entity that accesses or uses the Service.

1.4 Subscription    A plan acquired or purchased under Section 6 that grants access to specified portions of the digital library.

1.5 Hasalynx Pearls    Original, copyright-protected works produced or curated by Publisher, published under house pseudonyms.

1.6 Classical Gems    Public-domain works reformatted, annotated or edited by Publisher; although the text is public-domain, our specific presentation is protected.

1.7 Review    Any rating, comment, critique or other user-generated content submitted via the Service under Tier 2 privileges.


2. Acceptance & Scope

2.1 Entire Agreement    These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and Return & Refund Policy, form the complete agreement between you and Publisher regarding the Service. They supersede all prior agreements.

2.2 Scope of Use    Any use of the Service—browsing, registering, subscribing, posting Reviews or interacting in community features—constitutes acceptance of these Terms. Publisher may refuse or terminate access at its discretion.

4. Service Overview


4.1 Subscription Tiers

Free Tier: The Free Tier is available at no cost. Subscribers receive online access to 3 Tier 1 titles and may preview up to 10 percent of other chosen sample books from Tier 1 and Tier 2. This plan does not include the ability to submit reviews.

Tier 1 The Tier 1 subscription costs $9.99 per month. Subscribers gain online access to over 30 Tier 1 books, may preview up to 10 percent of other chosen Tier 2 titles. This plan does not include the ability to submit reviews.

Tier 2 The Tier 2 subscription costs $19.99 per month. Subscribers enjoy online access to all available content (=unlock the entire catalogue) and may write and submit reviews.


4.2 Content Changes   Publisher may add, modify or remove any Content at any time. Substantial reductions in available Content or benefits will be announced at least fourteen (14) days before taking effect.


5. Eligibility & Account Security

5.1 Age Requirement   Hasalynx Press does not publish adult material as its primary focus; however, some titles may include mature themes or content intended for adult readers. Therefore, to access the Service, you must be at least eighteen (18) years old, or have verifiable parental or guardian consent with a responsible adult expressly agreeing to these Terms on your behalf.

5.2 Accurate Information    All registration details (name, email, payment information) must be true, accurate and kept up to date.

5.3 Account Responsibility    You are solely responsible for activity under your credentials. Keep your password confidential and notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.


6. Subscriptions, Billing & Refunds

6.1 Renewal & Cancellation    Subscriptions auto-renew each billing cycle unless cancelled at least twenty-four (24) hours before renewal. Cancellation takes effect at the period’s end.

6.2 Payment Processing    All payments are handled by Wix Payments. We do not store full payment details. You authorize us to charge your payment method for fees and applicable taxes.

6.3 Refunds     All sales are final except when a promised feature/title is unavailable. Contact us within forty-eight (48) hours of billing to request a pro rata credit or refund. Approval is at Publisher’s sole discretion.

6.5 Chargebacks    Initiating a chargeback without prior contact may result in account suspension or termination. We reserve the right to contest any unauthorized chargebacks.


7. Intellectual Property & Use Restrictions

7.1 Ownership   All original content published on the Service—including proprietary text, software, branding elements, book covers, custom layouts, and literary works—is either owned by Hasalynx Press or properly licensed. Certain visual assets displayed through the website (such as photographs, icons, and design elements) are sourced from third-party platforms including the Wix media library and Unsplash. These third-party materials remain the intellectual property of their respective creators and are used by Hasalynx Press under the applicable terms and licenses. No ownership or authorship is claimed by Hasalynx Press over such third-party content.

7.2 Permitted Uses    Within your Subscription tier, you may:

  • Read Content online

  • Share short excerpts (up to 100 words) for non-commercial, educational or personal use, with attribution

7.3 Prohibited Conduct   Without Publisher’s written consent, you may not:

  • Reproduce, distribute, publicly display or create derivative works beyond your subscription rights

  • Use automated tools (scraping, bots, crawling) to extract Content

  • Redistribute Content via NFTs, blockchain or unauthorized platforms

  • Post full books or substantial excerpts on external sites

  • Remove or obscure copyright notices


8. User Reviews (Tier 2 Only)

8.1 License Grant    By submitting a Review, you grant Publisher a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, display and distribute your Review.

8.2 Display    Reviews appear under your chosen nickname and country; your full legal name will not be shown.

8.3 Guidelines    All Reviews must comply with posted Review Guidelines (no defamation, hate speech, harassment or personal data). Publisher may remove or edit Reviews at its discretion.


9. Privacy & Data Protection

Our Privacy Policy (incorporated by reference) details how we collect, use and protect your data. Highlights:

9.1 Data Collected

  • Registration data (name, email, payment)

  • Usage data (titles accessed, time spent, device info)

  • Demographics (age range, country)

  • Preferences (genres, bookmarks)

9.2 Lawful Bases

  • Contract performance (Service delivery)

  • Consent (marketing)

  • Legitimate interest (personalization, fraud prevention, analytics)

9.3 GDPR Rights   If you’re in the EU, you have rights to access, portability, rectification, erasure (“right to be forgotten”), restriction, objection and consent withdrawal. You may also lodge a complaint with Poland’s Data Protection Authority (UODO).

9.4 Security & Retention   Data is stored on Wix’s secure servers with industry-standard encryption. We retain data only as long as needed for contractual, legal or business purposes, then delete or anonymize.

9.5 Cross-Border Transfers   Your data may be processed outside the EU under standard contractual clauses or other approved safeguards.


10. Cookies & Tracking

10.1 Technologies Used   We use cookies, web beacons, local storage and similar tools for analytics, personalization, session management and marketing.

10.2 Categories

  • Essential (core functionality)

  • Performance (anonymous analytics)

  • Functionality (preferences)

  • Marketing (third-party ads)

10.3 Your Choices   Manage or disable cookies via browser settings. Note that disabling some cookies may impair Service functionality.


11. Termination & Suspension

11.1 Grounds   Publisher may suspend or terminate your access without notice for breach of these Terms, fraudulent activity, unauthorized chargebacks or other misuse.

11.2 Consequences   All rights granted under these Terms immediately cease. You must stop using the Service and delete downloaded Content unless otherwise permitted. No refunds except as provided in Section 6.

11.3 Survival   Sections 1 (Definitions), 7 (IP & Restrictions), 12 (Liability), 13 (Governing Law), 14 (Changes) and 15 (Contact) survive termination.


12. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

12.1 “As Is” Disclaimer   The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We disclaim all warranties, to the fullest extent allowed by law.

12.2 Exclusion of Damages   We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, even if advised of their possibility.

12.3 Liability Cap

  • Consumers: Direct damages capped at twice the subscription fees you paid in the prior 12 months.

  • Business Users: Direct damages capped at subscription fees paid in the prior 12 months.

12.4 Force Majeure   We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, outages, strikes, government actions, war).


13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

13.1 Governing Law   These Terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by Polish law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

13.2 Jurisdiction & Venue   You submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Kielce, Poland, and waive any objections to venue.

13.3 Mediation & Arbitration   Before litigation, parties agree to good-faith mediation in Poland. If mediation fails, disputes may proceed to arbitration under Polish Arbitration Association rules, unless prohibited by law.


14. Changes to These Terms

14.1 Material Changes   We will notify Subscribers via email or on-site announcement at least fourteen (14) days before material changes take effect.

14.2 Non-Material Changes   Minor updates become effective upon posting.

14.3 Acceptance   Continued use of the Service after changes constitute acceptance. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.
